Knowing mimosas and mornings are two of the highlights of springtime in Atlanta, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival launched the Mimosa 5K nearly a decade ago. This popular event now welcomes 1,000+ runners, walkers, rollers and strollers to hit the pavement on festival Saturday morning — this year, that is April 12.
An AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier, the 89th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival Mimosa 5K follows a scenic course through Midtown’s charming historic streets. The finish line brings runners back to the park where they can toast their success with a chilled mimosa (participants 21+ only) courtesy of Cupcake Vineyards. Early registration for this popular race is suggested.
Participants of all ages can stay to enjoy the festival, which opens at 10 a.m. Admission is FREE! The 89th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival takes place in Piedmont Park in Midtown, Friday through Sunday, April 11-13, 2025. www.dogwood.org
