Cars & ‘Q for the Cause

After topping $2 million in overall fundraising, organizers of the annual Cars & ‘Q for the Cause event are thrilled to be back in action to continue the fight to end cystic fibrosis, a genetic lung disorder affecting more than 30,000 people in the U.S. The award-winning car show and party hosted by Choate Construction in support of the Georgia Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) returns to Choate’s Sandy Springs headquarters on October 16 from 3 pm to 6 pm.

Since the last event, CFF has announced a massive breakthrough – the ability for children 6-11 years old to take the life-changing drug, Trikafta. Still, 10% of CF fighters are not able to take this medication due to specific gene mutations. After 10+ years in service to CF, the fundraising event has grown by leaps and bounds to welcome more than 1,200 attendees enjoying 120-plus cars of all genres; a generous spread of BBQ from Jim ‘n Nicks; continuous pours from local craft breweries; silent auction items; live music from The Jump Cut, and more. In 2019 alone, Cars & ‘Q raised a record-breaking $515,422 for CF.

Tickets in advance are $20 for event entry and dinner, and $40 for entry, dinner and access to the bar (legal age permitting). Tickets rise to $30 and $50 on October 8th and may sell out.
