When there is an intersection between people with disabilities and mental health conditions, there are added layers of complexities and challenges for the individual and their caregivers. However, positive outcomes ARE possible. We can start with understanding the issue and exploring resources.
Join us on Friday, September 9, for The Intersection, presented by Cobb Collaborative and Tommy Nobis Center. This town hall style meeting will feature a welcome from DBHDD Commissioner Judy Fitzgerald, other policy makers, as well as remarks from experts in mental health and disability advocacy. Additionally, there will be a panel discussion with a Q&A time for audience participants.
Coffee, tea and light refreshments from RISE Coffee & Tea will be served and networking with fellow attendees and exhibitors will begin at 8:30AM; the program will start at 9:15AM. We will adjourn at 12:00PM.
Please note that deadline for registration is 11:59PM on Tuesday, September 6.
