This event will not only support Michael and Senora Cristal’s wonderful ministries\, but proceeds will also help raise money for Unity North’s community outreach programs. \nThe Burning Bowl Ceremony is from 6:30 to 8 pm and the sound journey begins at 8:30. SUMMARY:The Mystical Arts of Tibet featuring the Tibetan Monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery
DESCRIPTION:The monks from the Drepung Loseling Monastery will be visiting Unity North Atlanta from November 24 – December 1\, 2024. \nDrepung Loseling is dedicated to the study and preservation of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of wisdom and compassion. A center for the cultivation of both heart and mind\, it provides a sanctuary for the nurturance of inner peace and kindness\, community understanding\, and global healing. \nJoin us for the week’s activities: \n– 11:15 am Sunday morning services on November 27 and December 4.\n– Mandala Sand Painting in the Sanctuary will be Monday – Wednesday and Friday – Saturday from 12 – 7 pm. Thursday\, Nov. 28 is  Thanksgiving and the mandala will not be available for viewing.\n– Make your own prayer flag to take home during Sanctuary hours\n– Lecture on mindfulness and meditation on Wednesday\, November 27 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary.\n– The closing ceremony will be held on Sunday\, December 1\, at 2 pm. $10 suggested love offering to help support the monks. \nDonations collected at the Mandala Sand Painting and merchandise sales help support over 3\,000 monks at the Drepung Loseling Monastery in exile in India.
