Chicken Salad Chick, the nation’s only fast-casual chicken salad restaurant concept, is marking the fifth year of its annual Cookies for a CURE campaign this September, inviting guests across Atlanta to help support childhood cancer research one sweet treat at a time.
Throughout Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September, Chicken Salad Chick will donate proceeds from every Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookie sold at participating restaurants to CURE Childhood Cancer, a nonprofit dedicated to funding innovative pediatric cancer research and supporting children and families affected by cancer.

Since launching Cookies for a CURE in 2022, the campaign has grown into a meaningful part of Chicken Salad Chick’s broader commitment to fighting cancer and hunger. The campaign’s signature Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookie features a soft, buttery cookie topped with bright lemon-zest buttercream inspired by the gold ribbon that symbolizes childhood cancer awareness.

The September campaign builds on a record-breaking year of giving. In 2025, Chicken Salad Chick guests helped raise $382,604.30 for CURE Childhood Cancer through Cookies for a CURE and the company’s annual Giving Card program.
That commitment will continue later this fall when Chicken Salad Chick’s Giving Card returns to restaurants in November. Guests who make a $5 donation will receive more than $75 in food rewards to use throughout 2027, with proceeds helping support CURE Childhood Cancer as well as efforts to fight food insecurity in local communities.
Cookies for a CURE is part of the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation’s broader philanthropic mission to fight cancer and hunger. Since its launch in 2017, the Foundation has donated more than $2 million to support pediatric cancer research and help address food insecurity in communities served by Chicken Salad Chick.
Throughout September, guests in Atlanta can participate in Cookies for a CURE by purchasing a Lemon Burst Buttercream Cookie at their local Chicken Salad Chick, available both in restaurant and online.
