The Virginia-Highland Civic Association (VHCA) is delighted to announce its 2025 Tour of Homes, which, for the first time, will occur in conjunction with Virginia-Highland Winterfest. Inviting all to come enjoy these “homes for the holidays,” the weekend, happening December 13-14, blends a neighborhood classic with a modern celebration, highlighting the best of Virginia-Highland: Instagram-worthy homes with irresistible charm, shops, restaurants and community spirit.
WHAT
Returning to its original December schedule, the Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes celebrates 50 years of neighborhood pride and architectural charm with a showcase of 10 beautifully decorated homes, including homes featured in Architectural Digest and House Beautiful.
This year, the tour offers a rare peek inside these coveted homes, beautifully dressed in their holiday best. Proceeds from the Tour of Homes benefit the Virginia-Highland Civic Association and its work with civic engagement, local schools, parks and community improvement projects. To make the tour even more festive, VHCA will host the Light Up VA-HI holiday lights contest, as well as live music and performances, and partner with local high school students to create cozy storefront displays.
The same weekend, Winterfest, a growing neighborhood event tradition, delights visitors from across the city with the Jingle Jog 5K, a holiday parade, gift market, Kids Corner and more.
The two perfectly paired events encourage residents and visitors to explore, shop local and enjoy the mix of history and creativity that defines Virginia-Highland.
