It’s almost time for the city’s favorite springtime tradition! This weekend, the 87th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival brings 260 fine artists, live music, amusement park-style rides, a VIP experience, international entertainment, the Mimosa 5K, the Atlanta High School Art Exhibition and Art Throwdown, the Kids Village presented by Visit Tallahassee and much more to Piedmont Park.
There is a requested $5 donation to offset the increased cost to produce the festival due to changes necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Atlanta Dogwood Festival is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The festival is partnering with local nonprofits and community organizations to staff collections at the entrance gate and will offer at 20% split of funds collected to those groups.
This year’s Party in the Park VIP Experience offers ticket holders the chance to upgrade their festival visit with seating, private bathrooms, a private bar, beer, liquor and wine tastings, the Loaded Taco/Loaded Burger food truck and more, all within the spacious fenced VIP area, which provides a perfect view of the live music and entertainment on the Coca-Cola Main Stage.
