The 88th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival is thrilled to announce A1A: The Official and Original Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show as the festival headliner on the Coca-Cola Main Stage Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m.
Bringing Buffett’s tropical tunes to audiences nationwide since 1991, A1A offers an energetic performance and holds the title of the longest-running Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show in history.
“We were extremely saddened by the loss of Jimmy Buffett last year,” said Brian Hill, festival executive director and dedicated Parrot Head. “His laid-back vibe is a perfect fit for the festival, so we decided to honor his legacy with this year’s A1A show.”
Although the A1A performance at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival is free to all, attendees can upgrade their festival latitude by sipping a margarita or other frozen concoction at an “Atlantaville” experience with the purchase of a Saturday Night VIP Ticket. This tiki bar- themed area is the perfect spot to toast the musician who invented tropical rock and celebrated the art of relaxing.
The Saturday Night VIP Ticket includes entrance to the fenced VIP area with seating, drink tickets to a dedicated bar, access to the Loaded Burger food truck for a paradisical “Cheeseburger on 10th St.,” and private bathrooms. Best of all, guests can purchase an upgraded VIP ticket that has reserved seating in front the stage where A1A will bring the island feel and sailing vibe that Buffett was known for. Hawaiian shirts and flip flops are welcome but not required!
