The Cobb Chamber and Cobb’s public school systems invite you to participate in a unique, behind-the-scenes experience as a “Teacher for a Day” to better understand one of Cobb County’s strongest assets. As a Teacher for a Day, you will have the chance to work side-by-side with one of Cobb County’s outstanding Teachers of the Year.
The 2017 program will take place the week of Monday, Feb. 6 – Friday, Feb. 10 in both Cobb County and Marietta City Schools. The principal and participant will connect at the beginning of the week and select the date that would be best for them. The program requires the commitment of a half workday.
We believe this program can be a very rewarding experience for members of the Cobb business community, Cobb’s teachers and our students. An application for this program can be found online. If you would like to participate, please complete the online application by Monday, Jan. 23.
For information about becoming a Teacher for a Day, contact Amy Goggins at 770-859-2335 or agoggins@cobbchamber.org.
