The College of Continuing and Professional Education at Kennesaw State University will host its winter Open House event from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11 at the KSU Center located at 3333 Busbee Drive. At Open House, prospective students, friends and family can learn about training opportunities that can lead to a career-changing path.

“We invite all career-driven individuals to explore the relevant and innovative programs our college has to offer,” said Continuing Education Dean Barbara Calhoun. “Our commitment is to provide continuous opportunities for growth through advanced professional programs.”

Open House attendees can explore more than 40 professional development certificate programs in business, healthcare, management, languages, technology and hospitality. Continuing Education staff, instructors and graduates will be available to answer questions and discuss career options and lifelong learning opportunities.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to take advantage of free career coaching sessions provided by KSU’s Career Services. In these sessions, participants will learn about resume and cover letter writing, interviewing techniques and social networking tools to expand their network.

  • Personal Financial Planner
  • Professional Investigator
  • Real Estate Salesperson Prelicense
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Restaurant Operations and Management

All Open House attendees will receive an exclusive 10 percent discount to be used for any personal class or certificate program registration. Continuing Education financial aid advisors will also be available to discuss payment plans, VA Education Benefits, WIOA and scholarships for select programs.
