Walk into Clean Juice Johnson Ferry and the smell of fresh fruit is the first thing that greets you. And although the trendy décor and inviting atmosphere invite you to sit a while, Clean Juice’s goal is to provide quick access to organic, healthy food. This new location recently opened in the Woodlawn Square shopping center behind Chick-Fil-A and Starbucks, with the official grand opening scheduled for August 10.
East Cobb franchise owners Natalia and Alan Flowers initially encountered Clean Juice as customers in one of the original Charlotte, NC stores while living in the area. When they decided to move back to Georgia and start their own business, research led them to a Clean Juice franchise as the best option. The Flowers acquired an existing Alpharetta location in 2018 while creating the Woodlawn Square store from the ground up.
According to Natalia, what differentiates Clean Juice from other juice bars is its commitment to being 100% organic. “Only Clean Juice can claim USDA-certified organic status,” she says. “We are a nutrition and wellness business, with no sugars, no harmful pesticides, and no antibiotics in any of our products.”
The menu offers a selection of delicious, handcrafted juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, Greenoa bowls (greens and grain bowls), avocado toast, and other light snacks. Kids smoothies are also available, with “Never miss a Monday” free smoothies for kids with the purchase of a regular menu item to start families’ weeks off right, according to Natalia.
Cold-pressed juice cleanses, which are freshly pressed in the store, are on the menu as well. “The main goal of our cleanse juices is to fill the body with vitamins and minerals, allowing it to rid itself of toxin buildup from various foods and the environment,” explains Natalia.
Passionate about this community they now call home, they are active in their children’s schools – Mt. Bethel Elementary, Dickerson Middle, and Walton High.
