The Cobb County Board of Commissioners recently issued a proclamation to honor the 50th anniversary of J.J. Daniel Middle School. School district officials, school board members and Daniell faculty and staff were present for the reading of the proclamation. Days later, a student assembly was held at Daniell to celebrate the momentous milestone. During the assembly, Cobb Commissioner JoAnn Birrell presented a copy of the proclamation to the school’s student body president.

A community celebration will be held at the school on Thursday, March 31, 2016, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
