As East Cobbers kick off another school year, Cobb County School District welcomed 800 new teachers. Some are veteran teachers from other school districts. Some are starting a second career as educators, and some are starting their first job after college. No matter their background, the Cobb County School District welcomed them to the Cobb family at the kickoff session of the New Teacher Academy on July 19 at Hillgrove High School.
