There’s something here for everyone! The Master Gardeners’ Yard Sale and Face Painting areas are sure to delight the youngest and most seasoned of visitors! April 19-20, 2024, from 10am-4pm at Jim R. Miller Park.
GARDEN TOUR:
Four of Cobb County’s finest residents have graciously opened their gardens for the 21st Annual Garden Tour (May 18, 2024, from 9am-4pm) to showcase how we can protect our pollinators. Let our docents take you through semi-tropical paradises, rows of rhododendrons, zen gardens, woodlands full of natives, and quiet spaces for pollinators and people alike. Stop by two MGVOCC projects as well – The William Root House in Marietta to walk through history and The Wellness Garden at the Cobb County Farm Bureau to learn how to grow fresh produce. Tickets ($21 in advance; $25 the day of the Tour) can be purchased as of March 1 at cobbmastergardeners. com. Children 17 and under are free.
MASTER GARDENERS:
Are you interested in joining the Master Gardeners? We have a variety of projects and programs throughout Cobb County focusing on Georgia-specific plants, birds and pollinators, and sustainable growing practices. Give back to your community and pass that knowledge on to others. More information can be found at cobbmastergardeners.com.
