30th Annual Pine Straw Sale. A fundraiser for Boy Scout Troop 1011. To ensure home delivery, your order and payment must be received by February 19. Cobb County Junior Basketball Tournament. Season and championship tournament for 6th-8th graders from Cobb, Cherokee, Paulding, North Fulton, Forsyth and Gwinnett schools.  Most Saturday and Sunday games start at 9am, check website for updates on times and locations. Last of the Red Hot Lovers by Neil Simon, presented by Centerstage North.  Middle-aged and married, overworked and overweight, Barney Cushman wants to join the sexual revolution before it’s too late. Cobb County District of Kiwanis 2016 Art & Music Showcase. All Cobb County and Marietta High School groups of student performers (five or less students including an accompanist if required) are invited to audition, and if chosen, perform in the Art & Music Showcase. A maximum of 24 individuals/groups will be chosen to perform. The winner(s) must be available to perform at the Georgia District Kiwanis Foundation Art & Music Showcase on April 30 in Albany, Georgia. 4-7pm. Black Inventors – Journey to Induction. In celebration of African American History Month, join us for a lecture by Lawrence King called “Black Inventors – Journey to Induction” will be presented. The lecture will focus on how African American inventors were inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame and what the long process was to have African Americans receive the recognition they deserved in science and technology. 6:30-7:30pm. Peter and the Starcatcher presented by Georgia Ensemble Theatre. Let your imagination take flight in this prequel to Peter Pan.
