Broadway Musicals: The Last 25 Years Concert presented by the Michael O’Neal Singers (MOS). Lipstick, Laughter & Life presented by WellStar. Nationally recognized master storyteller and inspirational humorous speaker, Renee Rongen speaks on the physical and emotional empowerment of women, and the efforts to support survivors of domestic situations. Guests will attend a Healthy Happy Hour and receive a series notebook, Spirit magazine, healthy meal, and gift. The 26th Annual Marietta Greek Festival. Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church is celebrating “Cobb County’s Most Delicious Festival!” Features a live Greek band playing traditional Greek songs while Hellenic dance troupes perform floor shows all weekend. Admission is $4 and children 12 and under are free. Held on the church grounds at 3431 Trickum Road. An Evening with the Stars Jazz Showcase. Tenor saxophonist, Don Braden, performs with the Wheeler High School Jazz Ensemble, followed by a set with an all-star big band comprised of some of metro Atlanta’s finest jazz musicians. FURever Fest hosted by Cobb County Animal Control. A fun, free, family event, featuring vendors with animal related businesses, services, and organizations providing education, information and products to enhance the experience of adopting a pet. A K-9 officer and the handler will demonstrate the skills these dogs provide as a member of the police force. Food and raffles will round out the event. 10am-4pm. Mental Health Panel Discussion presented by the Neighborhood Safety Commission Community Awareness Committee. Judge Mary E. Staley, judge for the Cobb County Mental Health Court, will be on the panel to answer questions from the audience. Discussions will cover all aspects of mental health and will include information on the free mental health services that are available to Cobb County residents. 7pm.
