TODD PETERSON, OWNER OF PETERSON PRESSURE WASHING

Year founded: 2010

Job title: Owner

Website: http://www.cobbpressurewashing.com

What does your business do?
We offer pressure washing to homeowners. Soft House Wash, Driveways, Decks, Brickworks etc.

Why did you start your business?
I started my business to be able to be out on my own. I started with family members’ homes and got hooked ever since. I enjoy seeing jobs go from dirty to clean.

What is your favorite part of your business?
The favorite part of my business is watching the customers’ faces when we are finished. From dirty to clean! I also enjoy doing my own thing on my own time.

How are you passing your time during the COVID crisis?
We are still working and busier than ever. This is probably the busiest we have been in the 5 years of business. Of course, I go straight home. I have very little contact with the customer.

Where were you born? Dubuque, Iowa

Tell us about your family
My parents have been East Cobbers as long as me– about 40 years. We have seen some changes. I am not married but I have a great cat that I got from Good Mews.

What are your hobbies/interests outside of your business?
I like to go to the gym, of course not now, so the outdoor workout is the best during the cool weather. Trout fishing is a favorite if I have time.
