All Cobb residents age 55+ are invited to participate in activities at various senior centers throughout Cobb. Atlanta Heritage Tour #10307

Over 700 movies and over 20 television shows have been shot here since 1972. The impact of the film industry continues to grow in Georgia making Atlanta a favorite of filmmakers and fans alike. During our tour we will experience films such as Selma, The Blind Side, and Driving Miss Daisy as well as fun movies like Ride Along and Madea’s Witness Protection, to name a few. We will visit Madea’s house for a photo op and after the tour we will go to the Smoke Ring House for a delicious lunch around 1:30pm (please bring a snack with you). $85 Senior Council members; $90 Non-members. Payment is due at time of registration.  Deadline: January 18. No refunds unless trip is cancelled. Activity Level 1 — small distance walking, most of trip is seated. Price includes luxury motor coach, lunch, tickets, and driver’s tip.

AARP Smart Driver

The AARP Smart Driver course is a refresher course specifically designed for drivers age 50 and older. Drivers may benefit from a discount on their auto insurance upon completing the course.
