Auto Draft 95Eastside Christian School held a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Student Center and Hutchinson Center on Tuesday, August 3 to unveil classroom renovations and dedicate a brand new space for their middle school. The Student Center will continue to house youth activities for Eastside Church, while also becoming home to Eastside Christian School’s middle school. 5 classrooms were renovated in that space to allow for school to meet daily. A new area complete with ping pong tables, foosball, and four gaming TV’s offers a space for students to connect outside of the classrooms. The Hutchinson Center, a 40,000 square foot building on campus, is home to the school’s gymnasium, weight rooms, STEM lab, and now 5 brand new classrooms. The renovation project was made possible by Eastside Christian’s annual fund, with additions and renovations totaling approximately $100K. 

“Our students, staff, and community are very excited about this new space and the educational opportunities it brings to our school.” says Dr. Tiffany Stark, Head of School at Eastside Christian. “We are very grateful for such a strong partnership with Eastside Church, which helped make these renovations possible.” 

“Our students loved the opportunity to participate in the vision and contribute ideas for the new and updated spaces on campus,” adds Mrs. Jen Gay, Dean of School at Eastside Christian.

  • 11 new classrooms equipped with one-to-one devices for students
  • 360 degree math classrooms 
  • Expanded music classroom and black-box theater
  • Dedicated space for middle school students and room for continued growth
