“Ballet Storytime” with GA Metro Dance Theatre and Switzer Library
GA Metro Dance Theatre (GMDT) is excited to present excerpts from three enchanting story ballets during “Ballet Storytime” at The Switzer Library of the Cobb County Public Library System in Marietta at 1 PM on March 3rd. Costumed dancers from the GMDT dance company will tell the stories of Peter and The Wolf, Swan Lake, and La Bayadere, and perform select excerpts from their upcoming show, The Wolf, The Swan, and The Princess (March 16th-18th at Jennie T. Anderson Theater) to promote a love of stories and the arts with these magical ballets. Children from 5 to 105 are invited to attend this free, “sneak peek” mini-performance for the community hosted by GMDT and the Switzer Library.
