Join this fun, low-impact full-body workout! Belly Dance is known for its slow, graceful use of the hands, arms, and upper body as well as the classic hip moves known as shimmies. Join Andrea, a Belly Dance instructor in the Atlanta area for 20+ years each week as she introduces the movement and technique that make up this ancient dance form. Music, costumes, culture, and choreography will be covered.
This class will meet Tuesday evenings from 6 pm – 7 pm at the Ron Anderson Recreation Center for 6 weeks starting June 6 through July 18th (no class July 4). Class registration includes a coin hip scarf.
