Synovus Bank will host a free Community Shred Day on Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to noon ET at its Roswell branch, 10446 Alpharetta Street.
The event encourages individuals to protect their personal data, including financial documents, by safely shredding confidential information. Shredding personal documents and sensitive materials safeguards information while helping to protect the environment, save on storage space and eliminate fire hazards.
Metro Atlanta residents may drop off documents that contain personal or sensitive information for shredding and secure disposal by Iron Mountain Data Management. Participants can bring up to three kitchen-size trash bags or boxes of material with all paper clips and metal binder clips removed.
