Free Concert from The Atlanta Concert Band
The Atlanta Concert Band is pleased to announce a free concert on June 12th at 6:00 at the Marietta First United Methodist 
Church. The concert will include music from family favorite movies, soloist Mr. Jim Broussard, and narration by Mr. David 
Marshall Silverman.	 

Join us for a wonderful evening of family friendly music. The concert will be held at the church's Pavilion at the Park on Polk. 
Bring a lawn chair or blanket...you are also welcome to bring dinner if you choose. 

In the event of rain, the concert will be held in the Fellowship Hall.

David Marshall Silverman is best known for his performances in STRANGER THINGS (Netflix), COBRA KAI (Netflix) and THE 
WALKING DEAD (AMC). His most recent projects include THE STAIRCASE (HBO), ECHO 3 (Apple Plus), FLORIDA MAN 
(Netflix), SHE-HULK (Disney/Marvel) and the feature-film, THE HILL, starring Dennis Quaid.

Jim Broussard's career spans almost 40 years since he graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, 
Massachusetts in 1985. In 1987 Jim ventured to Europe where he sang for the next nine years in major opera houses.  He 
has over 40 Operas in his repertoire and is most noted for his portrayals of Mozart, Rossini and Donizetti characters. Career 
highlights include singing under conductors Placido Domingo and James Levine.  He sang over 500 performances of 
Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber in Hamburg, Germany and studied voice with world-renowned tenor Nicolai 
Gedda.  

Jim has served on the voice faculties of Clemson University, North Greenville University and Charleston Southern University.  
He has also served as Director of Music at The International Baptist Church of Zürich, Switzerland, St. Andrew’s Anglican 
Church, Detmold, Germany and Pendleton Street Baptist in Greenville.  He was Director of Music of Christ Episcopal Church 
in Greenville South Carolina for twelve years and founder and artistic director of the Greenville Opera. Most recently he was 
Director of Music and Fine Art at Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler, Texas.

Currently he is the Director of Music at Marietta First United Methodist in Marietta, Georgia. He has a voice studio in Marietta 
and is a sought-after tenor soloist, choral clinician, vocal coach, and conductor.
