It’s time to get ready for Halloween, with this concert designed to bring out your inner zombie. At a special earlier time, it’s an afternoon perfect for the whole family. Dance along with Mickey’s broomsticks during The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, take a wild ride on the Knight Bus with Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and thrill to many more works you know and love, from scary movie themes to orchestral skeletons. This is a day all about fun, so skip the Sunday best and give your costumes a sneak preview to make the day extra special. Whether you’re a big fan yourself or have young ones just waking up to Halloween magic, it’s a day designed to thrill the child in each of us!

For some extra excitement, the Georgia Philharmonic will be holding its annual silent auction at this event, with gift baskets and other treats on offer that are perfect for the coming holidays. This is one of our best and most beloved fundraisers, with a selection covering a wide range of tastes and interests for both children and adults.  We’ll have baskets for the coffee lovers, spa treatments, toys, and more.  So whether you’re looking for a small musical ensemble to lift your holiday party to the next level, or just need some great items to round out your Thanksgiving table, we’ve got the perfect basket for you.  And if what you’ve always dreamed of is the chance to conduct a symphony orchestra?  Well, we’ve got that, too. Bidding will open at 3pm and run through the end of intermission. Don’t miss out on a great chance to get some of your shopping in early while supporting a great cause!
