Online Thanksgiving Service

Thankfully, unlike in epidemics of the past, we have ways to stay connected to the worship life of the church. In this diocese, as in many places, the word of God will still be preached, and the sacraments celebrated for the life of the world. Sadly, only a few of us can meet for this celebration. However, you can join us in prayer and in hearing the word of God proclaimed and preached, and you can join in offering the great thanksgiving of the Eucharist, participating in a small way in sustaining the sacramental life of the church.

Here’s how this works. On Thanksgiving Day at 10:30, we will start the YouTube Premiere for the service. If you follow the link below (also found on our website), you will be connected to a broadcast of the service.

You can follow along in the Book of Common Prayer (if you don’t have a physical BCP, you can order one on Amazon, or find one online at bcponline.org). We will have a copy of the bulletin on the website as well. The bulletin contains all the music for the hymns, so you will not need a hymnal. I hope (as always) that you will sing along!
