Historic Marietta Trolley Tour. All aboard for a one-hour, fully narrated exploration of the historic city of Marietta. Glover Park Concert Series featuring Bogey & The Viceroy. Enjoy music under the stars with a classic soul to today’s hits sound. Bring a picnic and blankets or set up lawn chairs after 4pm. CPR and AED Class. Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services Captain Nick Adams, will partner with the East Cobb Library by presenting a CPR and AED class. Patrons will learn how to help save a life when every moment counts during life-threatening situations, such as choking, drowning, accidents, etc. Learn to apply CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and/or AED (automated external defibrillator). Star Spangled Spectacular Saturday and Family Fun Festival sponsored by Kennesaw State University. This annual event features a family fun festival followed by a patriotic concert with performances by the KSU Big Band and KSU Summer Orchestra, closing with a spectacular fireworks finale. Artists in the Wild. The Chattahoochee Nature Center partners up with the Roswell Fine Arts Alliance to present local painters creating en plein air art throughout the Chattahoochee Nature Center grounds. Come visit with the painters and observe them at work along the trails on the 127 acres. Stay and visit the Discovery Center and Wildlife Walk and learn more about the Chattahoochee Watershed.
