Kids’ Fishing Event. Join Bass Pro Shop or Cabela’s for a family friendly weekend of activities. Kids of all ages are invited to catch their first fish with free catch-and-release ponds, take home a “First Fish” certificate and beginner’s guides, and participate in free seminars, free crafts and free photo downloads.

Big Creek Greenway. The Big Creek Greenway is a walking, running, and biking trail that stretches through Alpharetta, Roswell, and Forsyth County. Enjoy a nature walk with trails that are wide and flat enough for strollers! Closures exist for repairs, check the website for closures.

Monday, June 17
Movie Monday. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the first Movie Monday of summer. Enjoy face painting, a balloon artist, baseball trivia, tons of games and giveaways. Followed by the classic movie, The Sandlot on the outdoor big screen and complimentary popcorn.

Take a Walk! Explore the Sweet Auburn Historic District. Come explore the Sweet Auburn Historic District, home of the Civil Rights Movement. Known as the birthplace of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Sweet Auburn offers engaging and interesting sites for the family. Check out Ebenezer Baptist Church, the burial sites of King and his wife, and much more!

Fun with Chalk Family Program. Families with school age children are invited to make colorful chalk creations. All supplies will be provided.

Day at Mabry Park. One of Cobb’s newest parks, the 26.5-acre park has numerous features, including 1.2 miles of walking trails with overlooks and benches, a large playground, lake, restrooms, a community garden, picnic pavilions and paved parking.
