Here is the Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO) performing a Beethoven piece last summer. Founded in 2006, the GYSO is the largest youth orchestra program in the Southeast, encompassing four orchestras, a jazz ensemble and a percussion ensemble. Gifted and talented elementary- through high-school-age musicians from across the state are selected through competitive auditions.
