9-11 Field of Flags. Each life lost to the senseless tragic events of September 11, 2001, will be honored. This powerful commemorative event begins on Saturday, September 4th and will remain open until Saturday, September 18th (removal begins that morning). Saturday 9/4: 10am. Flag Parade: Processional from Grace Community Church to Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park to place flags in the Field of Flags. Saturday 9/11: 7-55am.
