Cobb County Commissioner JoAnn Birrell will spearhead a program on being in an “active shooter” situation at the Cobb County Republican Women’s Club’s Friday luncheon. The meeting takes place at 11:30 a.m. at the Marietta Conference Center, 500 Powder Springs Street, Marietta 30064.
The Cobb County Republican Women’s Club seeks to prepare women for positions in government, and to act as a supportive arm for our Republican candidates who seek to serve our community, state, and country by working diligently to ensure their election or re-election. The Club also aims to promote an informed electorate through political education and increase the effectiveness of women by promoting “good government” through active political participation.
