EVERY THURSDAY

Ukulele Club at JMEC. Come and learn new songs and enjoy playing your Ukulele in a group setting. Players will learn chords and strumming techniques while learning new songs. Old Dixie Highway Yard Sale. 90 mile yard sale celebrates historic communities along Georgia’s Dixie Highway, known locally as Old Highway 41. This annual event is held on the first full weekend of June. From Ringgold to Marietta. Antiques, souvenirs and knick-knacks, classic attractions, food, events and more. 7am-6pm. Animal-Human Emotional/Energetic Relationship. Tuesdays, June 2 & June 9 | 10-11:30am. Free/Registration required. The emotional well-being of animal is an emerging field. How are we connected to our animal companions? Tammy Billups, Sundance Healing Center, specialist on the relationship between animals and their people, reveals ground-breaking insights and guidance to help animals heal from the inside out. Marietta Square Art Walk. Enjoy an evening of shopping, dining, and a variety of arts & culture, around the charming streets of the Marietta Square. Top local dance, musical, visual and performing artists share their talent in front of the many boutiques, restaurants, galleries, and museums of the culturally rich and authentic Marietta Square. Annual Flying Colors Butterfly Festival.  Dance with butterflies to live music.  Create arts and crafts, face painting, and entomology exhibits.  Buy butterfly host plants and ask garden experts how you can attract butterflies to your garden.  Live butterfly releases on Saturday: 11am and 1:30pm; Sunday: 1:30pm and 3:30 pm. Roswell Summer Puppet Series.  Nationally-renowned puppeteers bring all varieties of puppets and marionettes to the stage for a collection of whimsical and captivating performances.  Monday-Saturday:  10am.  Additional shows Wednesday and Friday:  1pm.  No performance on July 4th. Healthy Brain Game Day. Wednesday, June 7 | 10-11:30am. Free/Registration required. We all know how important physical exercise is for our overall health and well-being. Defensive Driving/Driver Improvement Class presented by Safe America.  If you are already driving but want to lower the cost of your car insurance or if you’ve gotten a traffic ticket and need to take a defensive driving class, this class is for you.  6-hour class taught by certified instructors. 6-9pm.
