According to Manager Karina Brizuela, the first store location in Inman Park established itself as a place where healthy habits start. Now with 13 stores in metro Atlanta and a total of 18 nationwide, Kale Me Crazy continues its commitment to healthy eating by offering 98 percent organic or natural grown ingredients in all its food and juices. Menu selections are prepared fresh daily, including almond milk that is made in-house. All food and juices are dairy and gluten free.
“Everyone deserves access to real food, no matter how busy you are,” says Brizuela. “We are so much more than a juice bar. Although we offer juices, coffee, tea, and smoothies, we have an extensive menu of acai bowls, toasts, salads, wraps, and a poke bowl, which is wild-caught tuna served with rice and toppings. There is something for everyone, and it all tastes really good.”
Brizuela goes on to say that doctors, pharmacists, chiropractors, and other health professionals recognize the benefits of Kale Me Crazy’s products and recommend them to patients or clients to incorporate into their diets. In fact, Kale Me Crazy has partnerships with several local health care providers.
“Many of our menu selections contain vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants, and other ingredients that directly address certain physical conditions,” explains Brizuela. “For instance, our Wheatgrass Shot is high in minerals, and doctors recommend it for cancer patients. Another highly recommended option is The Painkiller — a combination of ginger, lime, turmeric, and raw honey — that helps to reduce inflammation. For workout enthusiasts, we have several smoothies specially created to replenish protein and nutrients after an intense workout.”
