Lutheran Church of the Resurrection at 4814 Paper Mill Rd. SE will host it’s second annual electronics recycling and paper shredding event February 24, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, in partnership with Data Delete Recycle, invites the community to recycle all obsolete and outdated electronics. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Brumby Elementary School in Cobb County located at 815 Terrell Mill Rd. SE Marietta, Georgia. In 2023, $1500 was raised by the event.
“By recycling your electronics at this event, you are promoting environmental responsibility and you will be giving back to your community,” says George O’Donnell, outreach team leader at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.
According to Data Delete Recycle, “you get peace of mind that any data found on servers, computers, IT equipment and electronic media will be securely wiped and completely destroyed.” You can feel good that your IT equipment will be responsibly recycled with their goal of zero landfill whenever possible.
