Nashville comes to Atlanta August 11 with Sam Lewis, the next concert in the Sundays on the River music series at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

There’s something particularly enchanting about spending an evening of music outdoors, surrounded by nature.

Bring a blanket, your love for music, and plenty of food to share as Sam Lewis takes the stage, with a backdrop of frog chorus from the pond.

Like many before him, Sam Lewis came to Nashville to make music. But unlike the majority, Lewis managed to hop on one of the most successful tours that country music has seen as of late. In May of 2018, his newest album, ‘Loversity,’ was released independently to high acclaim from Billboard Magazine, Rolling Stone, and American Songwriter.  RollingStone.com said it, “Sounds like The Black Keys meandering into Seventies psychedelic soul, with a storyteller’s eye, a swampy Southern groove and an emotional, political punch.”

The Sundays on the River concert series is every second Sunday, May-September. Each artist performs at the Chattahoochee Nature Center’s scenic lakeside pavilion under the stars and trees, along the banks of the Chattahoochee River. A cash bar is available and guests are encouraged to bring picnics. Tickets, event dates, musicians, and additional show information at www.chattnaturecenter.org
