What a wonderful day we had at our annual Fall Festival on October 3rd! From start to finish, the day was full of contagious joy. We were delighted by the incredible turnout. Every chair inside was filled with bright smiles and many new faces.
One of the highlights of the day was our rock painting station. Together, our community participated in a special service project for The Table on Delk as part of their “ROCKTOBER” initiative. During October, painted rocks of affirmation are included with meals delivered to victims of human trafficking. This is a simple yet powerful way to share love, encouragement, and hope with those who need it most. We loved seeing everyone’s creativity in action on over 150 painted rocks for such a meaningful cause!
Another unforgettable moment was our very first Pie Eating Contest. Contestants had just 90 seconds to devour as much pie as possible, and the competition was fierce. Rest assured, this tradition will definitely be back next year!
The unpredictable weather forced us to bring our inflatables inside the sanctuary. However, this move was a huge hit! The rain did hold off, but the parents enjoyed getting to sit back in comfy air-conditioned seats while the kids bounced away. It was such a fun twist that it just might become a new norm!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our amazing volunteers who really set the tone for such a joyful day. We couldn’t have done it without your warm hospitality and serving hearts!
