Organized by the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA), plans are underway for the largest annual spring showcase of new homes across metro Atlanta – the 2022 Parade of Homes. Spread out over three weekends in April and May, the event represents a wide variety of homes and townhomes with an array of styles, locations and price points. Each home is expertly crafted by builder members of the GAHBA. With the deadline to participate on March 4, the GAHBA is issuing one last call to builders to take advantage of this popular event.

“As a result of our robust marketing program for the Parade of Homes, participating builders benefit from increased visibility, traffic to their communities and people through the front door of their model and spec homes,” said Corey Deal, Executive Officer of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. For the first year ever, we’re expanding the Parade to include a virtual element – a great fit for a custom home builder who does not have a model or spec home to enter in the event. Instead, they can provide a virtual tour of one of their custom homes for homebuyers to enjoy.”

Dates for the 2022 Parade of Homes are April 23-24, April 30-May 1 and May 7-8. Model homes for participating builders will need to be open to the public Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The event is FREE to the public and involves self-guided tours of participating builders’ model and spec homes. An interactive map of Parade Homes will be available to attendees on the Parade of Homes app. To view pricing and sign up to participate, GAHBA member builders are encouraged to visit www.ATLHomesParade.com and click on the “Enter Your New Homes Here” button on the home page.

“David Weekley Homes is a big believer in the Parade of Homes because it opens our doors to so many people in various stages of their home buying journey” said Adam Cornett, Atlanta division president for the award-winning national homebuilder. “Participating builders gain exposure to everyone from buyers in the earliest stages of looking for their first home to seasoned customers that value quality and know what they want in their next home. We particularly love that it’s a chance to get our brand out there in front of people who haven’t yet discovered us or weren’t aware of all we offer in the greater Atlanta area. The Parade is a wonderful illustration of an event where everyone who participates – including builders and attendees – can benefit for a variety of reasons, and we are grateful to the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association for providing that opportunity.”
