Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority staff does not have a firm start date yet for work on section three of the East Cobb Pipeline project, which will start at Indian Hills Parkway and Cove Drive. The current estimate is that work will start in early summer, after most schools are out. A public meeting is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 28, at Sterling Estates East Cobb, 4220 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta. This will be an excellent opportunity for residents to get more details and ask questions.

Crews are installing pipe along Terrell Mill Road west of Powers Ferry Road. Another crew is working at The Exchange and a third is continuing the tunnel under Interstate 75. Cobb Department of Transportation staff will repave and reopen a section of Terrell Mill soon. Work on the section of Terrell Mill between Delk Road and Powers Ferry is delayed because of other utility conflicts. CCMWA staff is working to resolve those issues and will continue to make progress in other areas in the meantime.

Stay up-to-date on project construction and traffic impact through cobbcommute.org, ccmwa.org or by calling the project hotline at 770-514-5301.
