Ilene Kapper Oxman’s new restaurant combines community love and culinary excellence, serving specials and hosting events

Reunion Kitchen & Bar is making a splash in East Cobb’s dining scene. Led by Owner/ Operator Ilene Kapper Oxman and Chef Santiago Echavarria, the new restaurant promises delicious food and sophisticated fun. The menu features something for everyone, from pork chops to miso-glazed Chilean sea bass to steak frites. Ilene highly recommends mussels and martinis at the bar, the heartbeat of the restaurant. Reunion’s beautiful bar invites friends, families, and couples to enjoy an old-fashioned good time.
Ilene, originally from Long Island, New York, has lived in East Cobb since 1999. Her first East Cobb business was the popular wellness franchise My Gym Children’s Fitness Center. In addition to opening Reunion in April 2024, she continues to work at her other beloved local family restaurant, Harry’s Pizzas and Subs. Located at the Market Plaza Shopping Center on Johnson Ferry Road, Reunion Kitchen & Bar occupies the space formerly held by Red Sky Tapas & Bar. After extensive renovations, the space is completely transformed. The restaurant features an outdoor patio and private dining room that can host 40 seated guests or 50 for cocktail-style events. This August, Reunion is bringing Sunday brunch back to East Cobb with bottomless mimosas and a bloody mary bar. Enjoy half off appetizers from 4-6 pm daily! Closed on Monday but join them on Tuesday for $4.00 drafts and live music. On Wednesday, unwind with Wine Down Wednesday, featuring half off glasses of wine. Thursday is Ladies Night, offering a free appetizer for ladies at the bar along with live music. Indulge in $8.00 martinis on Friday, and savor half off margaritas on Saturday.
