The Atlanta area offers a New Year’s Eve celebration for every taste and every budget. Here are some of the big ones: 

Chick-fil-A Bowl Parade and FanFest. Watch the parade, complete with bands, cheerleaders, mascots and more starts at The parade will start at 9am at the intersection of Peachtree & Baker Street and proceed south on Peachtree and west on Andrew Young International Boulevard. The parade ends at the Georgia World Congress Center (285 Andrew Young International Boulevard). FanFest will run from 10am – 2pm, Georgia World Congress Center, Building C, Halls C1-C3. The Marietta Square Rings in the New Year with two celebrations. Visitors will enjoy live music on the Bandstand in Glover Park, ice sculpting and family festivities throughout the day. The smallest visitors will be included in the fun with a special Children’s Cow Drop at 7pm. Visitors without a curfew will stay out late for a one-of-a-kind Midnight Square Drop in the heart of The Marietta Square. New Year’s Eve at the Strand Tribute: An Allman Brothers cover band brings the timeless music of the Allman Brothers to the Earl Smith Strand Theatre on New Year’s Eve. The show will begin at 8:30pm and end at 11:30pm, giving everyone time to join in the countdown and festivities on the Square. This is an all ages show.
