Cobb County’s administrative offices opened today at 10 a.m. Additionally, the Cobb County Central Library, Mountain View Library and Kennesaw Branch Library will be open today. The Tax Commissioners Office and tag offices will be closed.
Cobb Department of Transportation continues to work crews 24 hours a day to minimize the impact of snow and ice on travel in the county. Initial efforts were focused on public safety areas such as those around hospitals, fire stations and police precincts. DOT’s efforts are now focused on major intersections, major roadways and some secondary roads. At this time DOT is unable to service subdivision streets.
