StillFire Brewing, one of the most awarded young craft breweries in the country, will celebrate the grand opening of its new 25,000-square-foot Smyrna Brewery and Taproom on Friday, March 13 at noon. Located just minutes from The Battery Atlanta and Truist Park, the new destination brewery dramatically expands the brand’s footprint while staying true to its community-driven roots.
Founded in 2019 in Suwanee, Georgia, StillFire Brewing was built on a passion for creativity, world-class brewing, and the belief that there’s a fire in all of us. Guided by the motto “Find Your Fire,” the company has grown from a neighborhood favorite into an internationally recognized craft brewery with more than 80 professional awards across five countries.
Honors include a Silver Medal at the 2025 World Beer Cup, multiple Great American Beer Festival awards, and three time recognition as Georgia Brewery of the Year by the New York International Beer Competition.
At the helm of brewing operations is Brewmaster Phil Farrell, a Grand Master Level 7 Beer Judge in the BJCP and one of the industry’s most accomplished competition judges. Farrell has judged more than 10,000 beers at the world’s largest competitions and earned more than 500 awards as a home brewer before turning professional. His precision-driven approach defines StillFire’s distinctive and award-winning portfolio.
The Smyrna brewery is designed as a true gathering destination. The space features a spacious main-level taproom, the covered Jonquil Beer Garden with multiple patios, a walk-out balcony overlooking the brewing operation, Bandit’s Barrel Room private event space, and a convenient to-go window. The highlight is the 4,000-square-foot SkyDeck rooftop, complete with fire pits, skyline views, large TVs, and a full-service bar.
Across four bars, guests can enjoy 78 taps featuring 32 drink options, including craft beer, handcrafted cocktails, wine, non-alcoholic mocktails and house-made root beer for the kids. The expansive beverage selection ensures the taproom is welcoming to beer enthusiasts, cocktail fans, families, and non-drinkers alike. StillFire is proudly family- and dog-friendly.
StillFire has partnered with Beto’s Tacos, which operates from an adjacent building serving tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and tortas designed to pair perfectly with the brewery’s beers. The company has also partnered with Rev Coffee to expand into morning hours, offering hot coffee and cold brew to create an all-day gathering space.
Grand opening weekend will feature live music on Saturday with Luke Latimer (1–4 p.m), the Brent Gafford Band (4–7 p.m.) and Keltic Kudzu (8–11 p.m.), along with giveaways, specials, and a live on-site broadcast from 97.1 The River. The first 50 guests each day will receive a commemorative grand opening glass while supplies last.
With expanded brewing capacity, thoughtfully designed spaces, and a prime Cobb County location, StillFire Brewing’s Smyrna Brewery and Taproom is positioned to become a cornerstone of the community — delivering award-winning beer, elevated hospitality, and a place for everyone to Find Your Fire.
