Amelia Earhart has long been a celebrated pilot, but few know of the other women who were among the country’s early aviation experts. Join the Department of Museums, Archives, and Rare Books as we explore the stories of these pioneering pilots at the opening of our new exhibit, The Sky’s the Limit: Women Pilots of World War II.
This exhibition highlights the experiences of women pilots and their aviation organizations during World War II. Join us on a guided tour, take part in an artifact show and tell, preview our related K-12 programs, and get access to free teacher resources. While exploring, take part in our scavenger hunt and submit your answers for a chance to win a museum gift basket!
Visit our website or contact Brittany Sealey at bsealey@kennesaw.edu to learn more about this exhibition. We look forward to welcoming you to the museum!
