Imagine walking into a huge space and laid before you is an enormous mandala. The mandala is made up of thou- sands of disks created by people from 50 states, 54 countries, and all 7 continents. On these circles school children from Bosnia, monks from Tibet, refugees from Syria, mothers from Egypt, survivors from Nigeria, millennials from Germany, families from Australia have all written or drawn their Hopes for Humanity. Walk through this mandala and it will change the way you think about the world, enlighten and delight you. As one participant put it, “Chill bumps, on chill bumps, on chill bumps.”
The public is invited to join Unity North Atlanta, artist Sonia Osio, and the Guinness Book of World Records, to experience the Global Mandala 2020. It will be featured from Wednesday, February 12 to Saturday, February 15, 10am-9pm; and, Sunday, February 16, 9am-7:30pm.
