Three Walton students, Jack Bugbee, Harry Cain, and Michael Kim, won the state Inventure Challenge at Georgia Tech on Wednesday, March 16, 2016. The InVenture Challenge is a competition for Georgia K12 students to recognize achievement and encourage interest in innovation, design, and engineering. The goal is to challenge students to identify a real-world problem and test a solution. These students won with their invention called Noise-X. They will go on to compete at the National Invention Convention in May in Washington DC. The students are all members of Walton’s STEM Academy.
