On Sunday, Dec. 2, WellStar Kennestone Hospital will host its 13th annual Light the Night tree lighting and holiday celebration, inviting local residents to take part in a free event to help usher in the holiday season with cheer.
From 4 to 6 p.m., community residents can enjoy several festive activities, including a visit and photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Mrs. Claus will also read “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” during the event. Additional activities include musical performances, a Snow Zone and selfie station. Participants can also enjoy food, beverages, games and more during the celebration.
“For several years, we have had the pleasure of hosting a joyful, community event on our campus that helps bring holiday cheer to area residents,” said Mary Chatman, WellStar senior vice president and president of WellStar Kennestone Hospital. “We look forward to welcoming everyone to our campus for family fun and merriment in anticipation of the 2018 holiday season.”
