Inclement weather is expected for early next week (Jan 10). Here are a few helpful facts for you and your student(s).
1. The Cobb County School District website, www.cobbk12.org will have information as early as Sunday afternoon regarding school delays or closings
2. You may also gain information regarding closings or delays by tuning in to local news or radio.
3. If school is delayed by two hours, Cobb County Schoolswill cancel ALL before school clubs, study sessions, practices, study halls, detentions, etc. The school will operate on a two hour delay.
4. Bus riders, a 2 hour delay means that the buses will run 2 hours later than they normally do. So if your student is picked up at 8:39, a two hour delay would mean the bus will pick up your student at 10:39.
