You Could Be Miss America! Young ladies from East Cobb are encouraged to take the first step by entering the 61st annual Miss Cobb County Scholarship Pageant set for the Jennie T. Anderson Theatre, Marietta, Aug. 4, 7 p.m.
Some $30,000 in cash scholarships and prizes will be awarded. Contestants must be 17-24 years old, a high school graduate and single. Judging is based on private interview, talent, evening gown and physical fitness. The deadline to enter is July 2. The winner will be crowned by the reigning Miss Cobb County, Victoria Hill.
