If you are committed to improving the cleanliness, beauty and safety of our community, Keep Cobb Beautiful is seeking youth and community volunteers to help clean up the East Cobb Park this Saturday, July 31 starting at 8am.

Sponsored by Keep Cobb Beautiful and coordinated by volunteer Marsha Chassner, The East Cobb Park Cleanup aims to pick up litter around the open grass fields, walking trails, stream, playground areas, and picnic pavilions.

“The East Cobb Park offers families a place to gather, play and enjoy the outdoors. When these recreational areas are scattered with trash and debris, it can cause a safety hazard and an eyesore. So, I decided to coordinate this community cleanup project to keep the East Cobb Park clean and green,” says Marsha.

All supplies needed to clean up the park will be provided. Volunteers are asked to bring their own water, and wear closed shoes, not flip flops.

The East Cobb Park is located at 3322 Roswell Rd, Marietta/East Cobb 30068. For more information, contact Marsha Chassner at 678-613-0621.
