Angelina and care provider

Camp Trach Me Away serves Georgia children, by providing a week-long overnight camp experience to “trach” and “vent” dependent children, allowing kids with severe pulmonological disorders opportunities for socializing and to learn life skills as they engage in activities that will help them realize their full potential as individuals, encouraging a sense of independence. This year Camp Trach Me Away hosted campers of all ages at Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, Georgia for its third year and again, at no costs to their families because of generous community support. Camp Trach Me Away has expanded to include Family Camping, Educational Conferences for Caregivers and Advocacy initiatives to assure children with trachs reach optimal independence, well-being and inclusion in the community.
