Aloha To Aging is a 501 c-3 organization that offers the “Aloha Day Club” senior respite program and ensures that trained volunteers
are available to assist and nurture club members, focusing on their abilities and not their inabilities. Aloha to Aging empowers family caregivers,
aging care receivers and volunteers in a positive, nurturing manner through quality programming. Aloha To Aging offices are in the
Mt. Bethel Community Center, 4608 Lower Roswell Rd., Marietta. RSVP: 678-439-1177.

Here are some programs available this month:
Home Safety and “Aging In Place”: Tuesday, January 11th at 10:30AM. Is your home prepared to help keep you safe and independent? Join Aloha to Aging, Inc. for an interactive 40 minute presentation on the issues, challenges, and solutions to ensuring additional safety steps are considered for those who want to “age in place”. Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and co-owner of Stay In-Home Solutions, Bob Rorke, will be our guest presenter to share his insight and answer your questions.
Safe Seniors on Simulators: Thursday, January 20th, 1:30 p.m. Offering a supportive and positive atmosphere for families with seniors looking to enhance their driving skills. A driving simulation will test the senior’s reaction time to determine driving competency levels.
The Virtual Dementia Tour™: Thursday, January 27th, 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Join Aloha To Aging, Inc. as we present The Virtual Dementia Tour™, a personal experience for those individuals who would like to better understand the world of dementia. The simulation of dementia will help you better
appreciate and care for a loved one with this disease.

Family Caregiver & Alzheimer’s Support Group: First Monday of each month at 10:30 a.m. (Jan. 3rd, Feb. 7th, Mar. 7th). Open to individuals who are assisting an aging loved one both inside and outside of the home. Free care is provided for your loved one while we meet, but must call in advance.

Grief Support Group: If you are dealing with the grief of losing an aging loved one, join us on the First Monday of each month at 2:30PM (Jan. 3rd, Feb. 7th, Mar. 7th) Program provided by Aloha To Aging, Inc. and sponsored by Crossroads Hospice.
Volunteer Opportunities: Start the year off right and catch the Aloha Spirit by joining us once a month from 10:AM – 2PM Honor our Aloha Day Club Seniors by sharing your time and talent as we enjoy delicious food and fun-filled conversation, activities and exercise.
